Take Flight with the DBPOWER Hawkeye-II Quadcopter Drone

Drones have taken flight everywhere and literally became increasingly popular mid of last year. In fact, it arrived in over 400 Best Buy stores last June 8th of 2015 and since then I have been wishing for one. I actually have shared at one point that 3D Robotics Solo Drone would make an amazing gift … but let’s be honest, these Toys AREN’T JUST for the Big Boys. 😉

After being wishful for quite some time … today I can finally share that I am joining the drone fanatics club with the DBPOWER Hawkeye-II Quadcopter Drone sold by Nova Tech US via amazon. As soon as it arrived in the mail I hurriedly unboxed my package to familiarize myself with everything. After flipping through the booklet / manual for a few minutes, I figured as much that I have to wing most things out from the picture and make my best “guesstimate” – so aside from a product review I’ve decided I’ll also share a simple step-by-step guide that may be of help to others. Let’s get started! 🙂

I started off with the propeller (wing) and this part is the trickiest bunch of them all. Once you get this down, everything is pretty much straight forward. Promise! So take a closer look at your drone’s wing area and you’ll notice the arrow symbol are either on a clockwise or counter-clockwise position. Simply match your propeller with the symbol to get the right one in. Some will try to use the letters under the propellers but I figured the symbols are easier to follow. 😉

I’ll update this post after I take photos and video while flying this baby outdoors. It’s currently snowing here like crazy so I have to wait until I get a little sunshine. 😉 Feel free to share some insights and request on the comment box below. xo

I suggest reaching out to your seller. Not sure if we have the same one, but my seller from Amazon have provided great customer service. Maybe they’ll be able to assist you and possibly replace, repair or sell parts that needs replacement.
