As a Vogue Influencer, I have been given the opportunity to review Clinique Moisture Surge CC cream – Clinique’s new hydrating color corrector in broad spectrum with SPF30. I seriously almost missed out on this opportunity as well as there were 2 samples left when I checked the given opportunity. As you all know, for each product that Vogue launches on their influencer network, there are only 50 samples available to snag. Fortunately, I have been lucky enough to score one and even luckier to have a sample matching my skin tone.
Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream in Light is best for fair skin tones. This product is very lightweight with skin-perfecting formula that help hydrate our skin and protects as well too. Here are actual photos of the product …
Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream Swatch
The swatched photos above are of “normal” room lighting and no flash to show the actual shade of the product sample.
The product is very light on the skin and does not leave any sticky residue. In fact, I barely feel any cream applied at all and blends very well. The oxidation is very fast and the product does not make my skin oily in any way. After 30-45 minutes I did notice that my skin feels a lot more supple, moisturized and smooth. Another highlight to point out is that it adds a certain glow and dewy effect.
My skin feels pampered when using Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream and I literally included this product along with my typical outgoing look. Obviously, as a beauty enthusiast I have a chosen go-to products that I heavily rely on for my looks. That way, I can guarantee that I have no makeup mishaps on special occasions or events.
For those of you who are interested to try out Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream it is available on the clinique website in 9 different shades and retails for $35 + shipping.

August 6, 2013I’m glad you reviewed this product. I’m curious as to what a CC cream is. Sure there are a lot of BB creams out there, but CC cream? Now I know that this is a good product and I could also try it since it’s available locally.

August 7, 2013It’s good that there’s such kind of cream which doesn’t feel so sticky and oily on face. I also want to try it for myself.

August 7, 2013I’m quite hesitant to try out CC creams coz I ended up wasting a lot of money trying out BB creams. All the ones I’ve tried felt thick and left my skin oily. But after reading your review, I think I’ll give the Clinique moisture surge CC cream a try. 🙂

August 7, 2013After BB cream, now this CC cream. Beauty products are really in evolution 🙂 I like the color palette of this though and looks natural on you.

August 8, 2013I’ve been wondering what the difference between CC Creams and BB Creams. 😛
If it’s lightweight and better than BB Creams, I’m going to try it out for sure. 😛
