As a new mom, I have realized that adjustments are rather hard. Some parents would say their kids are the same, while some would express that theirs couldn’t be any more different. Whether it is your first child or not … at the end of the day, all babies are precious and need extra care and attention. I must admit, I sometimes get frantic and worry too much when it comes to our son Josiah. But one thing is for sure, it’s normal to be concerned over the details, you just have to remember to overcome these challenges.
Personally, I seek out tips and advice from family and loved ones to make caring for Josiah a breeze. When it comes to his health, I make sure that I follow the instructions of his pediatrician. Reading books and articles online from reputable sources help too. And because of that, I learned that probiotics take a huge part in keeping our babies healthy.
What are Probiotics?
Probiotics are bacteria that live in our body. When we say bacteria, the first thing that comes into our mind are germs that can harm our system and later on. But did you know that our body is full of bacteria, and it is divided into two; the good and bad bacteria? The good bacteria keep us healthy.
Why do we need Probiotics?
Probiotics can help our body to replenish good bacteria and help the body balance the good over the harmful bacteria to keep our system working the way it should be. Probiotics are widely known as beneficial to our digestive system and to keep our immune system healthy.
I include probiotics in Josiah’s routine to make sure he’s getting everything he needs.
For our baby, I personally trust Culturelle® Probiotics as it is the #1 Pediatrician recommended probiotic brand, so rest assured that our babies are on safe hands. †
†: Based on a 2018 survey among pediatricians recommending a probiotic brand.
Why Culturelle® Probiotics?
I choose Culturelle® because it’s trusted and proven to help supply good bacteria that works naturally with a baby’s body as it delivers health benefits. It works like a charm! In our household, we don’t just rely on supplements and a healthy diet to help with Josiah’s milestone. We also utilize educational toys along with STEM projects and activities appropriate for his age. A few of our go-to are wooden blocks, cardboard boxes, photo books, etc. –which makes a significant impact on his learning process.
