A week ago I have shared my review and feature of Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 – a beautiful gadget that captures memories by taking unique instant photos to last a lifetime. For those of you whom had missed that post, I have mentioned that I will be having a giveaway in as a celebration for my birthday and a way to share my appreciation as well – one lucky winner will win his/her very own Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 (random color) and a box of Instax Mini Film.
I wanted to start the giveaway sooner (june 9th – on my birth date) but my schedule was quite full already and didn’t want to rush things. Just to keep you guys in the loop, I went out with hubby and toured NYC … it was such a breath taking experience. I love getting to see new places and learning new things. Hubby got me a lovely necklace with a cute key that have a heart handle and angel wings. The next day we went out once again and watched my very first Yankees game. Too bad they lost. Oh well. Hubby got me a pink NY Yankees baseball cap as a remembrance.
I didn’t get to take my instax with me as I accidentally left it on my other purse. Overall, I am totally in love with Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 and surely the winner would love it just as much … if not more.

I tried EVERY where to get one for her but they where all sold out EVERYWHERE even online and now I don’t have the money to buy one for her. My husband is a combat-injured OIF/OEF (Iraq War) veteran and we are grateful every single day that he is home. So, to be able to have a camera like this to take with us when we go to the beach or if we are just playing in the yard with our young daughters at home is great. It’s documenting our memories as they happen. One of his injuries is a traumatic brain injury and his short-term memory is affected and now his long-term memory is starting to be affected as well. Photographs would be a great way to remind him of things, certain days, events. It would be amazing.

Pictures of my grandkids and nature and since lately planning are the things that keep me happy. June 23, 2015I would take this camera with us to the beach! We are going on our first family vacation to the ocean at the end of July. My daughter just turned 9 last week and would LOVE to let her play with this while she experiences the ocean and the sand for the very first time! She loves taking photos– she gets that from me and her father (he passed away when she was 6 and she didn’t really know him, but she still has some of his traits.) She loves life and lives it to the fullest. I would love to surprise her with this camera for a late birthday present that she can use!

I absolutely adore Polaroid cameras and cameras in general. I am a fifteen year old with a deep seeded passion for photography; it’s scary really how many pictures I take daily. It would be amazing if I had another way to take photos rather than just with my smartphone, so I can add a little variety to my Instagram posts!
