When it comes to trying to potty train your son, you may be taking on a challenge that you never anticipated. Some boys potty train fast while others give you a hard time. It seems boys don’t really mind soiling in their diapers and tend to have zero motivation to stop wearing their diapers or pull-ups. Other boys are fine with potty training and pick up the skill quickly. If you’re struggling with potty training your boy, then you’ll love these tips to potty train a boy fast. Use my tips to get that son of yours peeing on the big boy potty without stress and frustration.
How to Potty Train a Boy Fast
Let Him Watch
Have your son watch Daddy use the bathroom so that he can learn by visual on how to use his the toilet. Be sure to explain the proper names for body parts and how they work to help your boy learn how to use the toilet on his own.
Have Him Sit to Potty
Some boys aren’t quite ready to stand and pee, which is perfectly acceptable! It’s easier to teach your son to potty train fast when you allow him to see to use his little boy potty. Sitting to pee and poop is an easier way to get your son potty trained fast, with fewer mishaps.
Buy the Right Equipment
Make sure you invest some money into a potty that’s made for boys. This will be a tremendous help when your son is watching Daddy use the potty and helping him be able to sit while peeing and pooping. There are guards for boy potty’s and some potty’s made just for boys that work well.

Motivate with Cool Underwear
Let your boy shop for new cool underwear with you. Being able to wear cool underwear that they picked out on their own will entice them to have fewer accidents as they work to potty train fast. There are many cool underwear options online as well as in your favorite local retail shops.
Make a Schedule
If you’re truly ready to potty train a boy fast then you’re going to want to make a potty training schedule and stick with it. There could be certain times of day when you have your son try to go potty and other times when you simply have your son try to use the potty. The schedule helps him get into the habit of using the potty rather than using his diaper or pull-ups to potty.
Create a Reward System
There are many potty reward systems available to download or buy that will help you potty train a boy fast. Boys tend to have a competitive nature so if you make potty training more like a competitive game where they get a reward, your son will be more apt to potty train quickly without a fuss.
Let Him Be Naked
If all else fails, let your son run around naked. Being naked is one of those last resort efforts to potty train a boy fast. If you’ve tried everything else and you’re simply at your wit’s end, then let your son have naked time during the day so that they can learn to use their potty quickly.
These are just some of the best tips I’ve found to help potty train a boy fast. Whether your son is a reluctant pottier or ready to start today, use my tips to get your son potty trained fast and efficiently.
