I’m ecstatic to share that I am participating in the Microsoft #LumiaSwitch Project! There are 70 of us that had been chosen to lead a team and we were given the task to choose 4 people to become our teammates. Altogether there are 350 participants and we will all be sharing content challenges that will both be fun as well as engaging. Each of us were sent devices randomly chosen between the Lumia 635 and Lumia 830 – and yours truly have received the latter.
I love this slogan! Definitely a good way to remind mobile users that safety comes first above all. Check out the full features and details of the Lumia 830 here.
Lumia 830 Specs
First impression? I love the responsive touch screen and how bright and crisp the photos are. Using the phone is pretty easy and I am impressed how easy it was to set-up. Of course I had to start with the essential app that I normally use … facebook, twitter, instagram (beta), foursquare, swarm, etc.
One thing I have noticed though that the Lumia comes pre-installed with a lot of apps … all of which are very helpful but most are apps that I won’t use so I had to uninstall those (e.g. AT&T navigator, AT&T mark the spot, mobile tv, etc). When it came to customization its a straightforward shot … and so it was pretty easy to get the look I wanted.
For those of you eager to meet my team … I proudly present the 4 ladies that makes up the #LumiaDreamTeam
