Most of you know by now that I have been struggling to breastfeed our little one. I had many bouts of engorgement and plugged ducts which eventually led to mastitis. Just one month postpartum when I got hospitalized for that issue on my left breast. Just last week, another flare-up started but this time on the right. That’s what led me to look up my choices when it comes to infant formula. I discovered that while there are many choices in the market, the Member’s Mark Infant Formula from Sam’s Club is an excellent fit for mom’s who needs to supplement whether it’s temporary or permanent and on a budget.
What I totally love is that it provides babies with complete nutrition and is now NON-GMO! It is also conveniently available at our local Sam’s Club, and if you’re a member, you can save up to 50% on Member’s Mark Infant Formula. That’s right! This formula also has the same nutrients supplied by Enfamil and Similac, but the MAJOR DIFFERENCE is that it saves families $450 per year.
There are multiple varieties to choose from – MM Infant, MM Advantage, MM Sensitivity, MM Gentle. For us, we have decided to try Sensitivity as my husband is lactose sensitive and our little one might be just like his dad.
While I have not given up on breastfeeding and pumping, this is a great way to help feed our little one when I don’t produce enough. Especially since my mastitis has lowered my supply on the left and my right is having a bit of an issue because of the current inflammation. At the end of the day – FED IS BEST!
For those of you who have been looking around for options on what formula to choose for your babies, I highly suggest checking out Member’s Mark Infant Formula from Sam’s Club. It has everything your baby needs without breaking the bank.

January 15, 2018My kids are way past this stage already. I wish they would have had this option when they were small. I wasn’t able to breast feed and was always concerned about the formula and what was in it (especially the powder). I’m glad to see that there is a company focused on not adding GMO’s!

January 15, 2018Not all moms can breastfeed and that’s something anyone should be ashamed of. I’m just glad that there are formulas to help put moms at ease with their baby’s health! This sounds great!

January 15, 2018I have a 6 month old who was EBF until we started solid food, but our pediatrician decided she didn’t gain enough weight at her last appointment and sent me scrambling for formula. It’s SO expensive! I’m glad there’s a good brand out there to help moms save money. Those little babies sure do love to eat. 🙂

January 15, 2018Sorry to hear you have been through mastitis! Ouch! I pumped for 16 months and went through a lot of hurdles. It was nice to be able to supplement as needed. This looks like a great formula for little ones.

January 15, 2018I like that they are moving to a NON-GMO type formula. I am 100% pro breastfeeding, so it’s good they are making formula a little better.

January 16, 2018This is so interesting. I’m really a huge fan of the Member’s Mark products, not only are they much more affordable than other brands at Sam’s, they’re just as good!

January 16, 2018This looks like a very nice option and it seems they have all the different kinds one may need. My son needed a sensitive type and I see they have that! This brand is far more affordable too!

January 16, 2018So glad to hear that you’re still working on nursing! Formula supplementation can kill your supply and the best thing for mastitis is to nurse through it. As a Mama of 5, I have been through my share of breastfeeding challenges and the worst thing to have happened to me where that’s concerned was being told, by my doc, to supplement my daughter. I completely lost my supply -_-
Taking a lecithin supplement can help prevent mastitis again and flush it for you now. Here’s a great post, not my own, that may help you find some relief; https://draxe.com/mastitis/
Good luck Mama!

January 16, 2018This is interesting! My little one had really bad reflux and it’s something this may have been kinder on her stomach! I wish I had seen this sooner

January 16, 2018This is a helpful article for new Moms. I breastfed my two kids so I never really had experience buying formula.

January 16, 2018San’s club has some of the best deals, especially on baby items. I never tried their formula, but their diapers are really great.

January 16, 2018I’m not a mom yet so I dont know much about any of this but this formula sounds like a great option. I’ll have to keep it in mind.

January 16, 2018Formula and diapers took a big chunk of our family budget when the kids were infants. Always glad to give a thumbs up to quality products that also help save families money based upon our own experiences.

January 17, 2018I have absolutely no idea about formula. I have breastfed all 4 of our kids and it’s totally lazy because I don’t have to do any mixing or preparing or nothing. But i do love Sam’s Club!
Karrie Frost
January 17, 2018That is a great price for formula! I wish there was a Sam’s Club close to me, that would have been a great option for me when my children were on formula.

January 17, 2018This sounds awesome! I don’t formula feed but I have heard so many AMAZING things about this so if I ever need to THIS one would be the one I’d choose.
Mastitis is awful. I have had it 4 times after 7 babies (not so bad) once I got antibiotics and the others I just trucked on through it, which his hard hard hard!
Rachel
January 17, 2018Anytime I had to use formula, I ended up going with the store brand. They really were exactly the same. I should have checked out Sam’s club though.
