If you browse the net, for sure, you have come across the saying “Messy Hair, Don’t Care.” While I honestly don’t have anything against those who use this statement to describe their gorgeous looking locks, I secretly wish I had an idea of how to tame mine. Or, to say the least, I wish I had discovered Rooted Rituals and their products much earlier (which I will talk more about in detail below as well as give a brief breakdown on on my youtube channel).
Truth be told, I am sure I’ve used that statement to describe my hair before even though I intentionally styled it to look a bit messy. Except, lately, it’s just naturally unmanageable from not getting proper care.
Before having kids, I’d opt to go to the salon and get a good blow-out, but where do I squeeze that in between the short hours of sleep and long hours spent keeping up with my kids as well as daily chores nowadays. Oh wait, let’s add the quarantine in the midst of that too – nobody is going to the salon! Of course, the dilemma does not end there. Let’s add another plot twist to the mix. If you’re a new/seasoned parent, you’d know very well having kids eventually gets quite costly. So the main objective is to get my hair the help it needs, and still save a couple of bucks by not having to pay professional treatment in a salon. Sounds far fetched? Not at all with the right products. That’s where Rooted Rituals comes in to help.
Why Rooted Rituals, you asked? Because they have discovered the secret to having beautiful, healthier hair by focusing on where it all begins –the roots! Plus, their products are made with skin-loving ingredients such as ginger root, charcoal, mint, aloe, and Vitamin E. They have everything covered from cleansing and detoxing, conditioning, as well as treatments that packs a one-two punch. I love that they help care for my hair AND my roots without having to compromise one or the other.
Uproot Your Hair Routine with Rooted Rituals
As I have shared on my YouTube video, Rooted Rituals Products are broken down into three parts –Cleanse, Condition, and Treat.
CLEANSING HAIR & SCALP CARE
- Pre-Shampoo Root Rinse
- Quick Rinse Scalp Scrub
- Clarifying Shampoo
CONDITIONING HAIR & SCALP CARE
- Deep Hydrating Concentrate
- Silicone-Free Conditioner
HAIR & SCALP TREATMENT
- Cooling & Strengthening Tonic
- Vitamin E Multi-Task Leave-On Mask
- Rooted Rituals Scalp Rejuvenating Scalp Massager
My all-time favorite and go-to hair care “ritual” is using the Cooling & Strengthening Tonic paired with the Rejuvenating Scalp Massager. It gives my hair that much-needed boost without having to do a lot of upkeeping or maintenance. I would personally call this tonic my “magic potion” as my hair has never looked as healthy as it does now until I started using this product. Also, I can’t get enough of the scalp massager! Aside from the fact that it increases circulation and blood flow to promote a healthier scalp, it is very relaxing too, just like going to the spa, at the convenience of our own home.
If I were to pick another favorite, I would choose the Pre-Shampoo Root Rinse because it helps break down those stubborn oil build-up and gives my scalp a clean slate. Doing so helps my roots absorb hair products much better too!
Rooted Rituals Instant Favorite!
Being a mom and working from home, I have minimal time to get everything sorted. Much less, have any spare time for pampering and treatments. So obviously, when I do find the time to squeeze things in between … it has to deliver, or it’s nothing but wasted time. If you’ve processed your hair with chemicals such as bleaching, perming, rebond, or dye even once, you bet your hair has taken damage. As for me, it was a combination of all that over the course of years (minus the perm). My hair was brittle, and it was literally splitting and ridiculously gets tangled very often. Then the pregnancy hormones did not help make things better. In fact, it sure made my hair looks even worst. I couldn’t stand the state it became. Something had to give. Rooted Rituals rescued my hair. I uprooted my hair care routine with their products, and I am so glad I did.
Just in case you’re a fellow mom who needs some hair pampering or just wanting to achieve healthier hair altogether, I highly recommend checking out Rooted Rituals. If you have been following my updates, you’d know I don’t just suggest products or services unless I am sure that they are worth it. Give it a try, I promise you, you won’t regret doing so.
Lastly, if you’re a Walmart shopper, you can purchase them online here.

April 30, 2020I was looking for my hair that is easily getting freezed up when dry. I had to sacrifice my long hair, as the care has become way too expensive and time-consuming.
Now that I am with my short hair again in this stage of my life, I am actually enjoying it. But I had to look for new hair products to allow my hair to curl, as it naturally does.
Now, I am all curled up. A different look. A different me.
So happy you found your favorite hair care products!

May 3, 2020This sounds like a great range and so pleased to hear you are getting on well with it. I can definitely relate to the having no time to do anything with your hair due to being a mum as I am exactly the same lol! My usual go to is just to put it up but it would be nice to have manageable hair day to day without having to wrestle it into a pony tail each morning! Will definitely check out this range.

May 3, 2020These sound like really good products, I feel like my hair has a level of build up at the moment and with lockdown I have just been using up old products that I have in the house which are probably not ideal for my hair.

May 3, 2020This is probably the perfect time to utilize these products. During quarantine, my hair has just totally lost all its luster and my roots are ridiculous without my stylist. But a good cleanse sounds pretty fantastic right about now. I might have to try!

May 5, 2020My latest hair salon appointment was scheduled for last week, and obviously that didn’t happen! I make the joke that I’ll look about 85 when the quarantine is over because I have serious grey hair. Plus be stepping on it because it is so long. These sound like amazing products that will fill in the gap until I can make it into the salon. I’m not even sure when that will be at this point either.
