Toy Story Land is another magical land you can enjoy in Disneyland. This wonderful place allows you to get in touch with your inner child as you venture through the land that those characters experienced in the movie Toy Story. Your kids will have a blast in Toy Story Land and so will you. Here’s more about this magical land that Disney has brought into the world of Disneyland for guests to enjoy.
Whether you’re great at getting in touch with your inner child or not, Toy Story Land will inspire you to be a kid all over again. From the moment you enter this land, you’ll be thrown into a world that just screams fun. You’re an honorary toy when you enter Toy Story Land so there’s no reason why you can’t feel like a child again.
The toys throughout Toy Story land will remind you of childhood, that is if you were born between 1960 and 1980. It’s a magical place where your whole childhood comes screaming back at you, in a good, fun way. From Tinker Toys to Dominoes and Yahtzee, your childhood favorites will be found throughout Toy Story Land.
About Toy Story Land
When entering Toy Story Land you’ll have a gigantic Woody right there to greet you at the entrance. The artistic talent behind these sculptures truly is amazing and words couldn’t do it justice. There are lights strung throughout all of Toy Story Land that only help bring childhood back to life for any adult venturing into Toy Story Land for the first or tenth time.

The scale of the sculptures is simply perfect. You’ll see the army men are in just the right proportional size to Buzz Lightyear. It’s as if you’re walking into the movie and meeting these characters for the first time. Since you’re an honorary toy during your time in Toy Story Land, the sizes compared to you make absolute sense too, which is another reason why I love how much detail Disney pays attention to when they’re creating a land based from a magical movie. Toy Story Land truly feels like you’re in the movie and experiencing life from the perspective of a toy in the film.
You’ll find water fountains throughout the entire park. These water fountains are colorful and themed well to match Toy Story Land. The dominoes fountain and the colorful block fountain are truly magical and showcase the amazing talent of those who create Disneyland’s themes for their guests.
Seeing Kinex pieces as the fences and pretend cardboard boxes throughout Toy Story Land make this seem like a real-life Toy Story world. While the appearance gives you a feel like you’re in Andy’s backyard and stuck in that backyard, you don’t feel crowded. There’s plenty of space for you to walk around and enjoy Toy Story Land with your family.
The music will be playing in the background with songs from the film, Toy Story, done by all different composers. There are many attractions inside Toy Story Land to keep you entertained and busy for hours. I love both attractions known as Alien Swirling Saucers and Slinky Dog Dash. These rides give you just the right amount of excitement for both adults and kids to enjoy.

Going to Toy Story Land is a wonderful way to experience the love of this film in a real-life way. This land is best for both kids and adults of all ages.
