Heard of water infusion? How about infused water? Nowadays everyone’s trying to be healthy if not healthier. There’s a lot of infomercials selling health related machines to help change our eating habits and implement better nutrition in our lifestyle. For those of you who had been following me on instagram you’d know my hubby and I got ourselves our own vitamix blender almost a year ago. Love it to bits. Although there are days that I need something light and a quick fix especially if I am rushing … that’s how I got myself started with water infusion.
Ready to try the trend? Then check out my favorite DIY recipe for a delicious water infusion … “Citrus Burst” … just a fancy name that I came up with while writing this post.

Prepare your container. I’ve decided to use a wide spout water bottle for convenience. Easy to use and to bring on the go. Dice up the fruits in even chunky size. Carefully place (or drop) inside the bottle. Add some mint leaves. When the bottle is halfway filled with the ingredients, fill it all the way up with some water. Leave in for a desired amount of time. I prefer to leave my infused water for the night that way the juices from the fruits had enough time to blend with the water.
