Disneyland Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Open May 31
This month Disneyland opened a new world to enjoy, Star Wars Land. This magical place is full of adventure and fun, as you would expect from anything Disney related. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set to open May 13, 2019, in Disneyland and is scheduled to open in Disney World in Florida on August 29, 2019. This is such a fabulous expansion for all of the Star Wars fans out there.
About Disneyland’s New Star Wars Land
You’ll experience a tour of the galaxy when you venture into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland with your family. You’ll enjoy a fictional planet that Disney calls Batuu. This fictional planet is located on the Outer Rim of the galaxy. Prior to Disney announcing this plant of Batuu it hadn’t been referenced in Star Wars.

While you may now hear of Batuu referenced in comic books and such, it’s really new territory to explore for Star Wars fans! Which is also why I’m excited to share more about Disneyland’s New Star Wars Land with you so that you can get an idea of how amazing this new world is –and head off to Disneyland soon to experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with your family.
The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Experience
There will be a cantina serving alcohol to the public who’s of age to drink. You’ll experience as many lightsaber fights as you wish. Keep your eyes out for encounters with Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron and Chewbacca as you venture around Disneyland’s new Star Wars Land. In addition, your experiences here will lead you to The Millennium Falcon.
This is a Star Wars fan dream come true. Disneyland has really hit the spot with this Wild West meets outer space style Star Wars themed land.

What you Need to Know About Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride allows riders to ride this beautiful Star Wars ship as the pilot, gunner, or flight engineer. The survival of this ride will be dependent on how well you can listen to instructions. Each person will be given critical instructions to complete tasks in order to get this falcon to go correctly and bring riders back safely.
Later on in the year 2019, Disneyland will be adding another ride for Star Wars fans to enjoy during their time in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. This ride is called The Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride and is expected to be simply awesome.
You’ll be able to find plenty of food vendors since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is set up like a street market where visitors will experience many food vendors, as well as shopping options while enjoying this Star Wars land in Disneyland.
Now that I’ve shared more details about Disneyland’s New Star Wars Land, you’ll have to know that there’s quite a waiting time to experience this beautiful location. Between May 31 and June 2, 2019 guests can only go into this new Star Wars land if they’ve reserved tickets. The tickets seem to sell out pretty fast too, so don’t hesitate to try to get your tickets now.
