Making Mr. Moo Look New Again with Lysol® Laundry Sanitizer

Being a parent comes with a lot of responsibilities. From making sure your little one is safe, well-fed, cared for, reaching their milestones, honing their skills, guiding their development, and the list goes on and on. There is no actual handbook for becoming the best mother or father you could ever be for your child. Every family and every kid is different. Meaning we handle everything differently. One thing that we all have in common is keeping our precious bundle of joy happy AND protected.

One thing I have learned from being a mother is that most babies eventually develop an attachment to a particular toy, stuffed animal, or even a blanket. This is what is often referred to as a child’s lovie. If you’re a veteran mom, you’d know very well that these toys are their “prized possession”. To my new and upcoming parents, like you, I was once clueless too and eventually found out first hand when our son Josiah King became so fond of Mr. Moo.

Mr Moo

Lysol® Laundry Sanitizer

Well, in such a short time Mr. Moo had already gone into a lot of adventures. He traveled overseas, went on road trips, had been tossed, and even flung around. You can already guess that he has taken quite a beating and looks quite tattered and YES … yucky too! Except, Josiah doesn’t seem to mind at all because he loves Mr. Moo a lot. Obviously, I wondered what I can do to keep Mr. Moo from looking so worn out. Thankfully, Lysol started the Teddy Repair initiative giving parents the tools and means to help sanitize and repair stuffed toys!!!

Lysol Teddy Repair

A few days ago I went to a breakfast event with the Lysol team. I have learned so much about Lysol® Laundry Sanitizer, a one-of-a-kind product that is safe to use on washable fabric items and kills 99.9% of bacteria that regular detergents may leave behind (when used as directed). It was such a fun and informative event that genuinely opened my eyes to a lot of knowledge.

Contrary to popular belief, washing laundry (and even stuffed animals) with regular detergent in cold water DOES NOT kill all bacteria. What a scary thought right? This includes harmful bacteria that can cause illness like staph! Any parent would want to help protect their kid(s) from these infections!

Lysol Teddy Repair

Mr. Moo Looks New Again Thanks to Lysol® Laundry Sanitizer!

Which is also why I am super grateful for the Lysol® Laundry Sanitizer as it helps eliminate these sickness-and odor-causing bacteria. Definitely a significant help for us parents to making sure our babies are well protected. Our family couldn’t ask for more.

Have you tried the Lysol® Laundry Sanitizer yet? Ever since discovering this amazing product it’s been a part of our laundry routine, AND we no longer utilize the “sanitize” option from our washer that takes 10,000 years to finish! Just so you know, another thing to highlight and love is that it does NOT contain any bleach, so it is safe to use even on colored clothes, fabrics and stuffed toys!

This is so cool! There have been many times I have had to repair my youngest’s “lovies” when he was little. They were these tiny blankets and one had a monkey head on the corner and the other had a puppy. He would not sleep or go anywhere without them!

Wow, the idea of repairing and sanitizing the stuffed animals is really creative. It’d be better than buying your kids a new toy, especially with the fact that lots of kids have a special bonding with their little creatures.

It’s amazing to know that Lysol provides such technology for parents and their children to track the stuffed animals during every step of the repair process. Pretty cool! ~ Ola @ WanderWithOla
