One thing our family enjoys during our downtime is a good show. Be it a movie or a tv series. While this day and age already offer the latest advancement as far as TV goes, there’s still that enticing appeal to the classic ambiance of a theatre. That’s the thing though, with a new baby in tow … there’s no guarantee how our son will act. Sometimes he enjoys relaxing and looking around, often times he would fall asleep. Except there’s also a few instances where he was just unhappy and I had to step out for a bit until he calmed down.
This is where we came to the idea of bringing the cinema home. I mean why not? Especially if we can have the utmost movie experience every time! Talk about home entertainment to its finest.
For our DIY Home Theatre, we’ve chosen the Epson Home Cinema 4010. It is equipped with 4K Pro-UHD Projector and Advanced 3-Chip Design. To top it all it all, it has a High dynamic range (HDR) to create a more realistic picture.

With the Epson Home Cinema 4010, we can enjoy movies, sports, and games the way they were meant to be seen – on the big screen with bright, full color, stunning resolution and free from artifacts as well as distortions that are commonly found in other projectors. You bet hubby is absolutely ecstatic!!! That’s because he is a sports fanatic. In fact, during football and college basketball season I usually have to battle my way to our living room’s remote control.

While our family never owned a projector prior to this, some of our relatives, as well as friends, do have one in their respective homes. I have to note that the Epson Home Cinema 4010 picture quality is brighter, more colorful, and noticeably more natural. Oh, and the biggest takeaway is the fact that it has a vertical and horizontal lens shift option. Guaranteeing installation flexibility and distortion-free images.

Let’s talk about price. As you all know, I always make it to a point to highlight wise purchases. As a mom with a growing list of things to buy, I understand forking out $1,999.99 isn’t a walk in the park. But at the end of the day, what makes this a “good buy” is the fact that it eventually pays for itself. How so? Well, we recently went to the movies and paid for 3 matinees which costs $30 and some change. Plus some snacks for about $25. That right there is $55 already. I don’t know how often most families go to the movies but let’s just say at least once a month. If we do that, we’re going to end up paying for $660 a year. What more if you have to buy multiple tickets? Or watch movies more than once a month? So more or less, the majority of the families out there can easily spend around the price of this device.
This also fit under the category of a smart buy especially if you have 2-3 kids AND for the family that loves to enjoy movies, sports as well as gaming. Let’s be honest, with a growing little boy I can already foresee him getting into certain RPG games. The Epson Home Cinema 4010 is the best addition that anyone can have.
