As I have shared on my previous updates, I have made plans already to meet up with my girl friend Faith Roxas of LoveRoxie.com in New York City. Yesterday, that plan officially pushed through and I spent a whole day with Faith. I traveled from New Windsor, while Faith traveled from the Bronx to meet up in Port Authority. I got up around 6 am to take care of some house chores and left around 8:15 am and arrived around a little past 10 am. Faith arrived 40 minutes later and we immediately took a stroll in the center. We took pictures around the Times Square before we headed out to Queens, New York to have brunch in Jollibee.

After a few hours of brunching and chit chatting, we headed out to ELF (Eyes, Lips, Face Cosmetics) newly opened branch in New York City. Of course we ended up hauling some goodies from ELF … which is inevitable. We love that ELF’s in-store products are the same price as it is online.

Next stop, we went to The Body Shop and hauled a few more goodies too! Faith and I went crazy over their perfume and body mist collection. We literally swatched and tested each and every single one. In the end we went for a different product but of the same scent that we liked.

Afterwards we traveled to downtown and got our nails done before heading back to queens to get some Jollibee to go [for our men] and traveled back to New York city and strolled in forever 21. The forever 21 branch here has 3 levels below making it 4 floors altogether from the top. Yep, the levels go downwards instead of upwards from the main entrance. We also took a photo booth picture and ended up looking so goofy on the first snap. Before we knew it, time flew by so fast and it is time for me to catch the bus back at 8:45 pm. It was past 8 pm when we left forever 21, passed by the center and took some more pictures.

By the time we reached port authority the bus just left … so I had no choice but to take the last trip at 10:45 pm. It was a good thing I missed my bus as we ended up grabbing a bite from Cinnabon [where the guy selling us our food have a big grin plastered on his face and looks really funny]. Then we hanged out at frames and having a wonderful time. I ordered us Amaretto Sour as Faith suggested and enjoyed our cinnabon. While everyone else is enjoying their drink and dancing, Faith and I are simply drinking our cocktails as we eat up our cinnabon. It was definitely a fun-filled day in New York for me. I can’t wait for our next get together. I headed home and arrived in the terminal past 12 midnight. Boyf and I headed out to Walmart then to his brothers’ place for a late dinner before we headed home to turn in.
