Yes, we finally decided to join the trend and take part on this popularized challenge. Only we made our rules a little bit different from the usual routine.

RiteAid Beauty Haul
For this haul I ended up with 6 items. During the time of my purchase the local RiteAid store in our area was offering a Black Friday / Seasonal Sale. They had a store-wide discount for everything and even price cuts of 40% up to 50% off on selected items. When I went the beauty isle I noticed right away that some items were sold out. It seems like a lot of shopper had ransacked the products! Then again, I can’t blame them for doing so as it is a very good deal! A lot of the discounted products (even gift sets) makes great stocking stuffers too.
Browsing through the selections left, I have decided not to buy any foundation and simply stick with the other beauty products I can make better use of. I don’t often wear foundation, bb cream or cc cream. I’m more of a wash and wear type of person. I’m not big with makeups, but I sure do have an addiction for skincare.

Complete Look
What do you think of the look I came up with? Is it “festive” enough? My typical (or should I say preferred) “smokey-eye” look resembles this look except with a different set of colors and palette.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase and really felt like I had a very good deal. RiteAid definitely gave me a quick fix for my shopping/beauty-diction.
