Recently Birchbox held a fun giveaway themed #BirchboxBFF Party in a Box whereas winners will receive a box of goodies to be shared with their besties filled with essentials to throw the ultimate grown-up pre-party — including dresses from Rent the Runway!
As a blogger I thought it would be fun to add a twist to the traditional “Pajama Party” and celebrated a “Cyber BFF Nightout” with the ever so lovely Faith of LoveRoxie.com & Charmaine of LoveCharmaine.com ♥
I am very excited to share this fabulous collaboration I did with my friends as it was fun, challenging and very exciting! The stash was sent to me by Birchbox and I have shipped out the other goodies to Faith and Charmaine so we can celebrate and defy the distance between us.
Beauty Blender » I am madly in love with this beauty tool! I have had makeup sponges before but nothing quite like this bad-ass! I swear this made my BB cream application flawless and well blended. Definitely a must-have! I would recommend this to anyone in a heart beat.
Incoco Nail Polish Applique » I’ve always been a fan of nail decals, gems and tattoos. I have never tried nail wraps prior to this so it was quite a treat to try it out. It was extremely easy to apply and I must add it looks absolutely fabulous!
Twistband » Totally love that this product really adds a sense of style to my hair without leaving any dents or adding damage to my currently dried up and abused hair. LOL.
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain » I’m a big fan of lip stain products and this lovely shade of purple adds a beautiful hint of red. It’s not sticky at all and applies evenly. Seriously, I hate sticky products and it makes me feel like I ate something greasy. Also it is lightly scented but doesn’t leave a perfume like taste on my mouth.
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Liquid Liner » I swear by eye liners as it adds a great definition to my chinky eyes. The shade I have is blue and I am not really diggin’ the shade but it isn’t highly pigmented so I don’t mind wearing this eyeliner at all. The application is easy and the tip glides smoothly.
Oscar Blandi’s Texture and Volume Spray » With all honesty I am not really a big hair spray kind of gal. I have very fine thin hair and I prefer to simply wash and wear. Upon trying this product to help hold the volume I achieved from blow drying I must share that it doesn’t weigh my hair down and it smells good too!
Model Co’s Power Lash Black Mascara » I rarely ever use mascara as I have hardly noticeable lashes! Yes … that’s true. If you’ve seen me or any pictures of me with voluminous and scandalous lashes you can bet already those are falsies. When I do wear false lashes that’s the only time I wear mascara to blend away my real and faux lashes. I’ve given this product a swipe and I love the highly pigmented deep black shade. It even added extra oomph to my real and faux lashes!
Rent the Runway – Peter Soronen’s Red Silk Scoop Sensation » this dress is absolutely stunning and I really wished it fitted better than it actually did. The arms were a bit tight and the dress barely closed in the back. I called rent the runway regarding the dress size and unfortunately they wouldn’t offer a free replacement or exchange despite I shared that the dress runs rather small. Oh well.
The following playlist features all 3 of our videos that captures the beautiful collaboration we had while having fun with our #BirchboxBFF goodies box …
