Joovy New Room – Every Parent’s Must-Have All-in-One Playard

Since we don’t have a lot of space left in our bedroom, we wanted our baby’s stuff and essentials to be compact as much as possible. We wanted everything to be small, yet functional enough to fit the needs of our little one. This is why we truly love the Joovy New Room. It caters to everything that we’re looking for.

The Joovy New Room is a very VERSATILE baby product as it certainly has it all! This Nursery Center Playard has everything a baby needs for sleeping, diaper changes, and playtime. It has a diaper station that is very spacious for diapers, wipes, Vaseline, butt paste, lotion, and so much more! There’s also an oversized pocket on the other side that can hold larger essential stuff.

Setting up this one of a kind playard is relatively easy. It doesn’t need any kind of special tools or technical skills and it will take just about 15 – 20 minutes to fully assemble together. Push, click, fit, and DONE!

After setting up the playard, a bassinet can be attached on top of it. The Joovy New Room Playard has their bassinet at a comfortable height, so it’s a safer choice for babies. The bassinet is also the same size as the playard so it is wide enough for a much more comfortable stay or sleep. It’s also very sturdy as it has Velcro sides to keep the corners flush and side clips to ensure safety as well as security. This bassinet is able to hold babies up to 15 pounds. With regular bassinets, babies should be switched to regular cribs once they start to roll over, sit-up or move about. For safety reasons of course. And when the baby outgrows the bassinet, it can be removed and the Joovy New Room can be used as a fully functional playard.

The included diaper changing table holds babies up to 25 pounds. So you can surely continue using it long after your baby outgrows the bassinet. It’s very easy to clean –simply wipe away and voila! When not in use just flip over to the side of the playard. I keep our attached all the time. Which is perfect so I won’t have to remove and find an area in our home to store it away. A major PLUS is that we don’t need a separate changing table either! This saves us MONEY that we can use for other essentials such as diapers and wipes. How convenient right?

Another PLUS that I want to highlight is that the mattress (which works with the bassinet and playard) comes with its own sheet. This mattress is firm yet comfortable, and most important of all is that it’s water-resistant!

The Joovy New Room all in one playard also has two wheels making it easy to move from one place to another. You don’t need to fold it up completely so you can move it from one room to another.

The Joovy 2017 New Room truly is one of the best baby items I currently have. It is very space-efficient and offers necessary conveniences that can surely help us a lot as new parents. It has everything my husband, myself and my baby needs from his very first day up to his first few years.
