These days, some of the most talked about, and highly recognized skin care products are the expensive ones. The pricier an item is, the likelier that it is effective. Or is it so? As a beauty blogger, I have learned the fact that high price does not necessarily mean effectiveness and quality.

In fact, I often find myself relying on affordable and widely available brands—the drugstore brands. If you think that drugstore brands don’t work, think again. Truth be told, because of blogging I have tried many high-end skin care products, but I always go back to my favorite. This affordable drugstore brand actually works wonders –Olay! Believe it or not, my husband and my mom swear by their products too.

From my own experience, Olay’s trio powerhouse works better than the high-end creams costing over $100, $200, and yes, even $400! To top it all, this 3-step routine delivers instant hydration and noticeably smoother skin without breaking my budget.

First up are the Olay Daily Facials. You would assume the cloths are designed to be a makeup remover but this water-activated wipe does more than that! It is actually a combination of micellar water, liquid cleanser, as well as a makeup remover. Not only does it help in cleansing and exfoliating, it also hydrates the skin in every use. I have been using this for over a year, and I swear it works like a charm when it comes to removing all the makeup residue, deep-seated dirt, and even the oil in my skin!
