Honoring Our Veteran’s with the Wounded Warrior Project “Carry Forward Virtual 5K”

This year is very humbling. It is the perfect time to appreciate what we have and count our blessings. As a military spouse, I had my fair share of worries when my husband deployed overseas. Thus the reason why military organizations and charities holds a significant role in my life.

The truth of the matter here is that I am not a runner. I am not athletic in any way. I honestly don’t jog. I don’t work out neither. I barely go out for walks. But here’s the thing … I AM DETERMINED to make a difference so I’ve signed myself up for a virtual 5K because it is for a GOOD cause. If you are looking to support one, look no further than the Wounded Warrior Project Carry Forward Virtual 5K. It is fantastic cause and a fun social distancing friendly event! You can participate in the run without having to travel anywhere else.

WWP

There’s still time to support WWP in their quest to serve, honor and empower wounded warriors as well as their families. Show up and step up for our veterans like my family and I did.

Help me raise money for wwp!

XOXO

Thank you so much for helping to spread the word on this. My son is in the Army, and I often worry about what might happen to him if he’s injured when he’s deployed. I’m glad Wounded Warrior does so much.

I think I’ll take part in this virtual 5K. Wounded Warrior does such important work. Our servicemen and women have given so much, the least I can do is take part in something like this.

That is such a great idea. I used to be a runner, but not really like running anymore, unless it is for a sport, haha. But I would definitely do something like this, awesome cause.
