That’s right ladies, your favorite English-Irish pop boy band One Direction is launching a new makeup called “The Looks Collection” … and yours truly have an early access for a sneak peek and to share my review! The collection consist of 3 keepsake tins inspired by their widely popularized album “Up All Night”, “Take Me Home” & “Midnight Memories”.
The collection that I have received is the “Take Me Home” kit … apparently I am the type to be “taken home” ahem, ahem! LOL. This kit is perfect to create a “Girl Next Door” look and so much more! Check out the photos of the kit …
The line will be available worldwide starting in the U.S. beginning on Aug. 11.

Brown Eyeliner – creamy and looks gorgeous on my pale skin. Glides beautifully and doesn’t feel chalky or dry. Perfect for changing Day Look to Night … one glide, a little smudge adds a big difference and definition.
Eyeshadow Palette – comes with basic shades that can create a subtle smokey eye look.
- Perfect combination for a Light Smokey Look would be Changed My Mind on the inner eye (tear duct) of the eyes, C’mon C’mon in the center lid all the way up to the crease and Little Things on the outer corner of the lid and Back For You on the brow bone.
- Perfect combination for a Heavier Smokey Look would be Back For You on the inner eye (tear duct) of the eyes, Take Me Home in the center lid all the way up to the crease and Little Things on the outer corner of the lid and Changed My Mind on the brow bone.
Last First Kiss Lipstick – comes in pink shade that glides easily … perfect for the newbies and beginners with makeup. Not heavily pigmented and can easily pass as a combination of lipstick and lip balm. The product came as shown on the picture and had been smashed on the top.
Kiss You Liquilights Glow Gloss this shimmery gloss comes in an orange tint with glitters in it. Adds a good moisture to lips and I would say if not for the glitters I would definitely wear this product more often. Given the fact that this product isn’t meant for a daily wear anyway I find the product fun to use as it glows under UV light.
Little Black Dress Mascara – a volumizing jet black mascara that makes any lashes flutter and thicker. Great way to add definition to any type of eyes. Yes, even for the chinky eyed one’s like me.
Live While We’re Young Nail Varnish – this subtle glittery polish is perfect for adding a pop of style on any manicure. Can go straight to naked nails but best to be used on top of another solid shade. I love adding glitter on the tips of my nails instead of getting a french tip. Makes my nails look more fun and upbeat.
… and some cute stencils for the artistic few who loves to create something different. These stencil can be used on the face, forehead, cheeks or even on the actual tin box! Design and make your own tin box personalized.
