Yesterday, you said tomorrow. Today, you said another day. There’s no perfect time. You just have to make the most of each day. Children are only little for so long. In this day and age, a lot of us are guilty for handing out and resorting to a gadget, or a screened device like our phones or tablet. While it is understandable because you have to take care of work and responsibilities, dedicating even a small time to spend with your kids makes a huge difference. When will today be the day? Put down your phone, put away the tablet, spend some quality time and BE THERE in the moment. Set the example. Start today!

Kahapon, sabi mo bukas. Maging halimbawa. Magsimula ngayon!

April 2, 2019You raise some really valid points in this post. If you keep putting something off until “tomorrow” before you know it a whole year has gone by

April 2, 2019I think sometimes we all need to remember to step away from our gadgets and spend some time in the here and now.

April 2, 2019My nephew is already getting so big and it’s scary how quickly he’s growing up. I totally agree I want to make the most of the moment.

April 2, 2019Yes, it does seem that electronics steal a lot of our time. I like to put mine down as often as possible.

April 2, 2019I would love to instill a rule between my husband and I that we need to put down our phones for at least an hour a day and just be present with one another. Ha! I doubt it would last long, LOL!

April 2, 2019Oh hey, fellow Filipino! I don’t have kids, but I still agree that we should limit the use of gadgets and instead focus on the moment!

April 3, 2019What a great reminder. It is true, I’ve seen too many people gather around and yet everyone was busy looking at their phones instead of talking to each other. We need to be more be there in the moment indeed. ~ Ola @ WanderWithOla

April 3, 2019I have always been one that doesn’t like to procrastinate. If I can do it today, I’m going to. After reading your post though, I realize that I’m not making the most of my day. I need to work on that starting now.

April 3, 2019I really do believe in having time out from our screens is good for family life and the soul. I was in a coffee shop the other day and no one at all was on a device for a change, and it was wonderful to see everyone talking and interacting.

April 3, 2019Very true. Kids grow up soon enough. Even small bits of focussed time spent with them can create wonderful memories for them and us.

April 3, 2019I always heard this if you can do it today why wait till tomorrow. Life is short in my personal experience if there are things that you want to do now do it, because tomorrow is not a promise.

April 3, 2019This is a great self check! We get so caught up in the need to dos or the TV or the Phones that we forget or lose the moment to enjoy our time with the people we love.

April 4, 2019It is so important to keep our gadgets away for some time to spend some quality time together. Luckily, there is an extremely weak to no wifi signal in my daughter’s room and now that room has become a perfect family place! 😉

April 4, 2019This is so true. Little ones grow up so quickly and there’s no getting back the time you’ve missed spending with them.

April 4, 2019Putting down devices is such a simple way to reconnect, yet it seems so difficult. Our society really has a problem communicating face-to-face, thanks to our beloved gadgets. It’s really sad.

April 5, 2019I love this and I totally agree, I think we are all guilty of putting things off but there is no time like the present!
