My first subscription came in the mail for the April Ipsy Bag and I am very excited to share what I have hauled from them. The package came in a hot pink bubble wrap plastic envelope. I am thinking of recycling the packaging but really have no time to spare just yet. Upon opening the packaging, I have been greeted by a beautiful Ipsy “Pretty in Pink” post card and a “Special Access VIP Invite”.

The small pouch that they sent is in white shade with pink lining along the zipper. It is very simple and minimal which I really love as it is something that i can take with me on my daily activity. The lining inside is designed with stripes in the colors of hot pink and white. The white stripes contains the Ipsy logo that made it look more chic. The pouch contains an assortment of 4 products. All products have decent size, and from my observation only the argan oil looked like a sample [mini] size and the rest are full size one’s.

The first product is the “Love at First Byte” which is a pretty shade of peach from Sation Nail Lacquer for Ipsy. Sation have over 100 brilliant shades from their overall collection and contains No DBP, Toluene or Formaldehyde. This product is in full size. Glides well and needs at least 2 coats.

The second product is the “Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal” from Sexy Hair. This product comes with Argan Oil from Morocco that helps reduce frizz and even speeds up blow drying time. It is a nourishing styling treatment that can be used even on the go. No foul smell and surprisingly smells nice for an oil product. This sampler [or should I say mini version?] comes in .85fl. oz. or 25ml.

The third product is the Duo Eyeshadow “Heartache” from Two Cosmetics. The colors are two shades of pink, one shimmery and one matte. The ingredients may contain +/- Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, Manganese Violet, Ferric Ferrocyanide and more. Net weight is 0.98 g or 0.035 oz.

The fourth and last product is the blush on “Sweet Cheeks” by Be a Bombshell Cosmetics. Comes in a beautiful chic packaging that have a silhouette of a woman on the cover of the compact case. The shade of the blush is a warm pale pink that adds a nice glow and tint to light skin complexion. No foul odor aside from the faint smell of glue from sticking the blush pan to the compact container. Comes in full size and net weight is 5g or 0.17 oz.

Overall, I am very satisfied on the Ipsy Bag for April and I am quite excited to see what the next month’s bag will have. How about you? Are you looking forward to the next one too?
